So far, school is not going as smoothly as I would like right now, but it is
beyond my control. The reason? Well, I have 6 classes right now and my
room is the size of a peanut. The absolute max I'm legally allowed to have
in there is 24 students. However, my smallest class has 26! My other class
sizes: 30, 32, 36, 39, 42. We've only been in classes for 1 week and I am
so incredibly exhausted. I feel like I'm boring my students right now,
because I can't really do anything fun because there are too many of us and
it would end up a zoo! I spend most of the class time doing classroom mgt
(discipline-preventing vandalism, etc.). BUT, there is a light at the end
of the tunnel! The school board fired our principal last night and our new
principal started this morning! Quick action, huh? She stopped by my
classroom this afternoon and couldn't believe the sardines! Hopefully, I'll
get some relief soon.

Hope all is well!
Emmy
